General: WAIII I love this costume! My very first Cosplay too. I just wish there had been a good Hotohori *dreamy sigh* for me to glomp, that being the main motivation behind this costume. ^^;;; but over all it was pretty comfy and a perfect first cosplay.

Main tunic: Although ill never quite understand why Nuriko wears such a color, I was amazed that I had found the right fabric so easily. My Sister Anne actually sewed this piece for me, me being deathly afraid of screwing up at the time. And since I wasn't there while she worked on it the upper arms are kinda funny and are tight if their not twisted a little. But otherwise it all worked nicely. I hand stitched the green cording all the way down the front and around the neck, and also made the front fasteners(which now look so incredibly crude to me X.x ) but Velcro holds the whole thing closed. ^^;

Sash: very simple, I got yellow fabric and Anne sewed it into a long sash that I could now do blindfolded ^^;; then it was just a matter of tying it around my waist with the big bow in front.

Pants and leg ties: the pants are just pants I bought at millers outpost ^^;;; and they were kinda long for me but since they were perfect otherwise I got them anyway. The worst part of this costume was the leg ties, but only because they kept falling down even when I safety pinned them O.o; but when they were cooperating they looked good ^^v

Shoes: for the shoes I made my friend drive me down to china town and got actual black Chinese slippers. Unfortuntally when I got them I was wearing thick socks so their a little big unless I wear those socks O.o;; but otherwise those shoes rock! Errr even if they have no grip whatsoever and are easy to trip in ^^;

Hair: well this was another factor in my decision to cosplay Nuriko, becouse I have long hair and didn't have to buy a wig, just some purple hair spray-in color, which we had to go out and buy more of for the second day thankes to Kamui's sis for driving me to a beauty shop in costume ^^;;;
