General: NEVER WEAR A FIVE LAYER PETTICOAT IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER IN TOKYO! Heh, okay, but other than that I love this obscure little costume! Witch is adorable and sneaky and just an awesome character from an awesome game. Puyo Puyo puzzle fun forever!

Dress: The dress is made out of dark green crepe and is trimmed with a lighter green of the same material. I made the dress in two main parts, the dress and a pinafore that I stitched to the dress directly, the connection is invisible under my cummerbund. There was also a second part with that for a little half skirt that hung over the main skirt, this was scalloped and trimmed. The sleeves are frustums like Roan's sleeves, heh.

Petticoat: Gawd, five layers! It looks nice once it's on, but it was so hot to wear in August! I took an old petticoat and cut it so it would fit me and added a few layers of stiff petticoat material, the scratchy kind, in between the other layers. Fortunately there was cloth in between, but that petticoat seems so huge!

Shoes: Nothing special here, just the brown shoes I used for Rufus and seem to again have served me quite well.

Hat: I don't have good luck with hats, the balance was all in the back and it kept falling, but I've been working so that it is tight on my head so it stays secure. Other than that it's just a very long frustum tied at the end with a bit of interfacing underneath the front rim around my head to make it stronger.

Ornament: I really like how this came out, and it really was simple! The orb itself is a halved clear ornament painted with a bright red and the backing is two pieces of fleece that have been made stiff with this wonderful liquid fabric stiffener and painted gold. I glued the orb to the pieces after I had placed them and glued them together and attached a pin backing so I could just slip it on!

Broom: I couldn't be bothered with making my own broom so luckily it was Halloween time when I actually picked it up. It's just a standard witch broom with a piece of dark green fabric tied around it with a styrofoam star I had painted stiched securely to the green cloth. Overall the simplicity makes it nice.
